How to Get Canadian Experience Fast |

Canada Immigrant Blog: Dr Trayn, what is meant by Canadian Experience and how important is it. Our readers specifically requested us to ask you that.
Dr Trayn: According to The Immigrant’s Glossary of Canadian Terms, Canadian Experience is defined as:
“period of time from the moment of emergence of a newborn from mother’s womb within Canada’s geographic borders and duly witnessed and recorded by a qualified maternity professional under Canadian laws. No other requirements.”
CanadaImmigrantBlog: Well, that is all very convenient, isn’t it. But what if the above is not actually possible in this lifetime, how can an Immigrant get 3 years of Canadian experience upon freshly arriving into Canada?
Dr Trayn: Acquiring 3 years of Canadian experience in your relative field is a Two Step process.
- Step One: The immigrant must turn back the clock 3 years.
- Step Two: The immigrant must Immigrate to Canada at that time (3 years ago.)
CanadaImmigrantBlog: What if the immigrant cannot travel back in time and immigrate 3 years ago?
Dr Trayn: Of course, in that case, one must either immigrate 6 years ago or call his or her Time Travel Agent’s customer service.
CanadaImmigrantBlog: What if turning the clock back 3 or 6 years still requires 3 years of Canadian experience at that particular time?
Dr Trayn: You know that is a very good question — an important one. I’ve always believed that visiting the past never really accomplished anything. It only gives one reason to regret and grieve over things which one did not have any control over in the first place.
CanadaImmigrantBlog: That’s all very poetic and philosophical, but you didn’t answer the question…
Dr Trayn: Look buddy, I’m the expert here. And according to our Immigration Ministry, there’s no right or wrong answer. Only the best answer.
